Lauderdale by the sea is a beach located east of A1A off Commercial Blvd. There you will find restaurants, bars, ice creams shops and more. Its down the Street from Sea Ranch Lakes to the North and Sunrise to the South. Its coordinates are 26.1897° N, 80.0950° W. Its know for its Florida's Beach Diving Capital. Lauderdale-By-The-Sea does not allow tall buildings along its beach and in town; that's why the community has maintained its Old Florida charm, reminiscent of Florida in the 1950s. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a town in Broward County, Florida, United States, situated 33 miles north of Miami. As of the 2010 census, the population was 6,056. It is part of the Miami–Fort Lauderdale–Pompano Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area, which was home to 5,564,635 people at the 2010 census.
